XR-HUB DESIGN proudly represented Jingdezhen, China at the prestigious London Design Biennale 2025, showcasing the collaborative artwork “Yin & Yang” created in partnership with Lu Juan, Master Tutor at Jingdezhen Ceramic University.

The piece embodies a profound dialogue between traditional Chinese philosophy and contemporary design, drawing inspiration from the mythical dragon-turtle Xuanwu—a symbol of longevity and resilience. Utilizing a striking monochromatic palette of black and white, the work integrates elements of the caudex plant Dioscorea elephantipes, echoing the textured shell of the sacred creature. This fusion reflects the enduring vitality and evolving narrative of Chinese cultural artistry.

“Yin & Yang” received exceptional acclaim from international media and audiences alike, praised for its elegant synthesis of mythological symbolism and botanical influence. The piece captivated visitors with its nuanced representation of balance and natural harmony, reinforcing XR-HUB DESIGN’s commitment to innovating within traditional craft contexts.
This exhibition not only highlighted Jingdezhen’s historic role as the porcelain capital but also positioned Chinese contemporary design on the global stage with sophistication and creative authority.
